TABLE OF CONTENTS

Group Settings are applied for permissions and settings through the iPad app.

WarehouseOS distinguishes between Accounts that will log into WOS Manager and Users that will log into WOS Operations.

Users are organized into Groups to assign permissions to WOS Operations. Because a User is assigned to a Group, processes can differ for warehouse employees based on skill, experience, or job responsibilities.

Note: The initial system is deployed with a default group called "Default Group". This should be edited to match the specific business requirements.
After creating new groups, review WOS Operations Users to assign group to users.

Manage Groups

  1. Go to Admin -> Users, then click the WMS Fusion Groups tab
  2. Click on an existing Group or click on Create New
  3. Make the necessary edits to the settings
  4. Click Save

Note: The Duplicate Group button will copy all existing group settings into a new group. This is an easy way to make new Groups that only have slightly different settings.

Delete Groups

  1. Go to Admin -> Groups
  2. Click on an existing Group or click on Create New
  3. Click Delete
  4. When the confirmation page loads, click Delete again.

Group Options

Picking

Applies to both Batch Pick and Single Pick

  • Verify Location - Requires a scan of a location before you can complete the pick
  • Verify Item - Requires a scan of an item or item’s UPC before you can complete the pick
  • Verify Quantity - Requires a scan of item for each count (ie Qty=3 requires 3 item scans). Quantity can also be entered

Note: When Verify Item and Verify Quantity are both selected, the item must first be scanned to verify that it's the right item and then scanned again to be counted against the first quantity of the pick.

  • Auto Next Pick - After completing a pick, the user is automatically shown the next pick instead of returning to pick list
  • Do Cart Picking - Forces a user to scan a cart before picking. Any subsequent picks will be placed on that cart

Warning: If Do Cart Picking is disabled, there won't be a cart to scan into Packing, Verify, or PackOne. Order Numbers can be scanned into Packing and Verify to complete the orders one by one. But because PackOne completes orders by scanning the single item on the order, this app can't be used if a cart wasn't used during picking.

  • Complete On Verify Scans - System will auto complete the pick operation when the quantity scans equal the requested quantity

  • Allow Pick Location Override - The User may select to pick inventory from a different location than the location assigned during allocation
